Technique of
mounting following.
A rubber ring at first is established. The twisting of a ring
is not supposed. Then on the piston is put on conic mandrel.
With the purpose of exception of an opportunity of break
obturating of rings at a stretching on mandrel they are
recommended previously to be heated up to 1000C, for example by
immersing in boiling water for 3-5 minutes, with consequent
removal of water from a surface of rings.
Heated the sealing ring from fluoroplastic or polyether puts
on on mandrel and as shown in a fig. 8 is stretched on mandrel
with the help of a petal glass before sticking in a landing
place.
Then, for seals E13 and E15 of performance "A" and
seals E18 the protective rings and seal in the tax upset (see
fig. 9) crimping by mandrel, diameter equal to a diameter of the
cylinder are put on.
In all cases at mounting seals it is necessary to track
execution of the following conditions:
- at installation two either several split sealng or
protective rings, the locks of rings should uniformly be located
on a circle;
- the obturating rings of seals Е18 should be oriented
by "cog" in the side of high pressure;
- the conic surfaces of protective rings should be oriented
to conic backs of landing grooves.
On occassion mounting of sealing rings can be executed
through synthetic ribbons, as shown in a fig. 10. A preheating
of a ring and consequent upset forging thus are obligatory.
Before installation of the piston with seal in the cylinder
it is necessary will be convinced of absence of acute crimps and
rough edges on paths of seal to a working site of the cylinder.
